Blog Update of Sorts
I wanted to update on some things for those who may or may not care about some of the blog projects that I’ve been working on that have been ongoing for a while, but haven’t yet been finished.

I like Korean dramas. Sometimes I watch them while drinking wine
I wanted to update on some things for those who may or may not care about some of the blog projects that I’ve been working on that have been ongoing for a while, but haven’t yet been finished.
Read MoreI haven’t done a post like this in a while, and there’s always good music coming out that I know you all are missing. This is my plea to listen to them. Find them. Love them. I also included some that are technically end of May releases, shh. It’s fine.
Read MoreSo I’m crazy and decided to do something in July, and you can join me if you want. I’m using readathon setups to dictate what dramas that I’ll watch. It’s been something I’ve wanted to do for a while, and have slightly worked this into readathons that I’ve done in the past by taking some of the prompts for what book to choose, and translated it to which drama was chosen, but I’ve never done it for just dramas alone. And I’ve never seen anyone else do it. I don’t necessarily keep up with readathons the way others do, but what I do really like about them is the challenge of fitting what to choose based on the rules. It helps when you are bad at making decisions. And if you are like me, sometimes you’re so bad at making drama decisions which then leads to just turning on Criminal Minds again for the fortieth time to not have to think.
Read MoreSince it is summer, and I’ve been lacking on Flavor Profiles it seemed only fitting to dedicate this month’s Flavor Profile to the queens of summer bops: SISTAR.

I’m back with a brand new mixtape. Today, I present music videos featuring chandeliers. You’re welcome.
This one was hard because a lot of the groups had multiple chandelier options. I’m looking at you, Dreamcatcher. Also a good amount of the songs also feature clocks, and I almost made this a duo chandelier/clock list, but then it would have been an even longer one and I had to hold myself back. I guess now you know that a clock playlist will be in your future.
But really, this made an amazing list…so I also threw it up on Spotify. Does the theme make sense there? No, but it’s too good not to have it on all platforms.

DAY6’s new album, The Book of Us: Demon came out a couple of weeks ago, and since I’ve had some time to sit and listen to it (a lot) I wanted to do a review of the album. I know that by doing a review of a group I consider one of my top groups is probably not something I can necessarily do truly unbiased, I still wanted to mention some of the aspects of the album that I really liked and talk a little bit more about my feelings of the album on a whole.

Read MoreWe’re at the point in all this that I’ve started rewatching all of the old kpop videos I loved that I can find, because why not? I also decided that you should be given the opportunity to watch them as well.
My first true kpop love was SS501, and one of the very first variety-type shows that I was introduced to was the Thank You For Waking Me Up series with the comedian Park Kyung Lim:
The managers waking up and not knowing how to function gets me every time. They just don’t make em like they used to.
I wasn’t going to do a blog post today but figured that too many Japanese releases came out that I haven’t talked about here on the blog that a last-minute post was in order. I’m sure I’m missing some more, but things are crazy right now.
Read MoreI’m finally back! Ladies’ Code’s debut anniversary was at the beginning of the month and I had plans to release this post then, but work was a little too crazy for me to have been able to do that. Now that I’m officially off from work for who knows how long, and staying inside I was able to work on getting it up.
Read MoreThis month was supposed to be relatively quiet on the music front for me, with Dreamcatcher and Monsta X being one the only groups that I had my eye on, but then all my favorite Japanese artists decided to put out new music videos within days of each other. Today’s post is going to highlight them all because it’s a lot (and because you should all listen to them).
Read MoreFor Chansung’s birthday, a whole post dedicated to him was in order.
