Fortnight Frights Wrap Up

I’m finally wrapping up the Fortnight Frights readathon put on by the lovely Artisan Geek I participated in the last two weeks of October. It didn’t go as well as hoped, but I did get to a good amount of books, and I’m not going to stress over things I didn’t get to and plans changing. The election being now wasn’t a good mental health addition, and I'm trying to be gentle with myself.

So I’m crazy and decided to do something in July, and you can join me if you want. I’m using readathon setups to dictate what dramas that I’ll watch. It’s been something I’ve wanted to do for a while, and have slightly worked this into readathons that I’ve done in the past by taking some of the prompts for what book to choose, and translated it to which drama was chosen, but I’ve never done it for just dramas alone. And I’ve never seen anyone else do it. I don’t necessarily keep up with readathons the way others do, but what I do really like about them is the challenge of fitting what to choose based on the rules. It helps when you are bad at making decisions. And if you are like me, sometimes you’re so bad at making drama decisions which then leads to just turning on Criminal Minds again for the fortieth time to not have to think.

The Olympic Games Readathon TBR

On the never-ending quest for getting books back into my life and now that I’m officially unemployed (till…May?), I’ve been searching for some upcoming readathons to fill my time. Readathons help me finding and making the time to read, and the prompts for what books I should pick usually are pretty fun and give me a direction.
