happy birthday chansung
Today is Chansung’s birthday (February 11, 1990) and I wanted to dedicate an entire music post to him because I love him dearly and since I’ve been bingeing My Holo Love, I’ve been missing him a lot. This will be a full on appreciation post to him, I tried to tone it down and not list every video or moment that I like from him but it was hard.
Unless you don’t actually follow me, you should already know that 2PM is my ult group and while Chansung isn’t my ult bias (my girl Solji has that spot!), he is extremely high up there. He’s been from basically day one and I want you all to get to know more about this loveable and goofy maknae.
To start off the post, I’ve made a playlist on Spotify of all the songs Chansung has composed and his solos. He doesn’t have much in the way of solos (at least officially recorded/on Spotify), and there are a few missing composed songs (they are included on the “Go Crazy” grand edition), this is still a good list to get you in the mood to fawn over him, and let’s face it. All 2PM mixes are good mixes:

He was on a Chinese program If You Love Me, which is essentially their version of We Got Married and ended up singing an ‘All of Me’ cover and it’s fantastic. I think out of all the members, Chansung has had the most development on his voice and I really enjoy being able to hear his progression throughout all of the albums.
Emily’s 2PM content is always great, and she generally shares the same opinions I have on her lists so I wanted to include this of her top favorite Chansung solo songs. She has all the good clips from concerts that I just don’t have. (also check out the rest of her channel for more content - not just 2PM, you won’t regret it!)
We’ve all seen 2PM’s videos, and while they do all show they can dance Chansung is actually pretty good. He was on one of those Dancing With the Stars type programs in Korea, but where I think he shines is when he partners with Fei of Miss A. They are so good together. They’ve done a couple of performances together (mostly during the JYP Nation tours) but here’s one from the 2013 Gayo Daejun:
