mixtape: playlist #1

Instead of doing my normal list of music videos, I thought that each month I would make a good old fashioned mixtape. They will be random, some having a theme and some probably just a collection of music I’ve enjoyed throughout the month. As you’ve probably noticed I’m pretty sporadic in my music tastes, so this could go in many different ways.

This week I focused on some of the Japanese songs I liked this past year. Some were from groups I already follow, and some I just randomly stumbled upon them or they were suggested because I was listening to something else. I tried to keep them to one’s that I hadn’t talked about on other music posts, but some did end up on my 2019 list.

And because I’m so nice (and know how ridiculously hard it is to find Japanese content since it isn’t consistent throughout platforms and when one has it in English, the other can have it Kanji), I have created a Spotify playlist version. I know that those are sometimes people’s preferred method of listening. I make a lot of playlists, so if you want to follow me over there for more playlists I don’t talk about, that would be cool too.
