+ dramas +

Surprise, surprise, I didn’t watch anything from my currently watching list. I did, however, start and finish a new jdrama this week and started another one. What? I know.

I ended up picking up Tokyo Tarareba Musume on a whim. I wanted to watch a new jdrama, and the cast is basically everyone from The Reason I Can’t Find My Love, so I went with it. Ended up finishing in two days. Super bingeable, super light, and just all-around enjoyable.

The second is the drama Follow Saretara Owari. I’m about halfway through the series, but the episodes are really short (15 minutes each) and it’s pretty easy to get through. It’s a psychological thriller (not scary), and right up my alley.

Tomorrow the (j?)drama Giri/Haji comes out on Netflix. I watched the trailer when it dropped and looks pretty promising. Might have to check it out this weekend.

+ music +

Next week both King Gnu and Superfly drop albums on the 15th, and I’m so excited. Kim Jae Joong will also be releasing an album, and I’m very much interested in this comeback.

+ news +

-Gary

As a long-time lover of Running Man, I was happy to see that Gary has decided to join the reality show The Return of Superman. He’s been out of doing things especially in the variety sense since he left Running Man got married/had the baby, so it’ll be nice to see him back on screen.

-Psycho

There’s a rumor going around that Red Velvet may be releasing an English version of ‘Psycho’ for the Birds of Prey soundtrack.

-DAY6

Since I’m now DAY6 trash, you get lots of unnecessary updates about them from me. This week it was announced that they will be at 88 Rising’s Head in the Clouds concert in Jakarta. Yay!

-Mariya Takeuchi

The Japanese artist, Mariya Takeuchi, has become the oldest singer to achieve a #1 single in Japan.

-Kyuhyun

Here’s a nice article about Kyuhyun’s return to the stage in the musical, The Man Who Laughs. There’s also another interview about working with Suho (from EXO).

-Parasite

Bong Joon Ho in talks for a limited series based on the movie produced by HBO.

-Watch as NCT 127 steals your heart in their video with Glamour

-I mean, seriously. If you haven’t watched this music video yet, what are you doing:

-I miss 2PM always and so glad that Taecyeon is going to be in a drama soon cause we get adorable content from him.

-I love these interviews they do where they sit down the group and watch the live stage and talk about it, this one from when EXID was doing ‘Me and You’ promotions (I don’t know why they waited till well after promotions to post this, but oh well).
