Today’s post is dedicated to the brain eaters. Think of this as your unofficial guide to some of the Asian zombie entertainment available. I kept the list to anything that is currently accessible on the major platforms (in the US).

If movies are your thing, here’s some options readily available:

-I know you know Train to Busan, but you might not know/have watched the prequel, Seoul Station (Amazon, Shudder)
-But maybe you want to rewatch Train to Busan? No judgement here. (Viki, Amazon, Shudder)
-Looking for a Japanese comedy option? One Cut of the Dead is a great option. (Amazon, Shudder)
-Or maybe try the newest Netflix offering, #Alive. (Netflix)
-If you like Kingdom, or just want something historical, check out Rampant. (Viki, Amazon, YouTube)
-KL Zombie is a Malaysian comedy about a hockey playing pizza delivery boy...who fights zombies. (Netflix)
-There’s also Doomsday Book. It’s an anthology, but the first story features zombies. (Amazon, YouTube)
-Also another anthology, Horror Stories, has a zombie story. (Asian Crush)
-Rise of the Zombie I haven’t heard much about, but it looks interesting. (Netflix)

If you have a bit more free time, might as well start some zombie dramas:

-Obvious recommendation is Kingdom, but you might not know that it’s fairly short - an easy binge. (Netflix)
-Four episodes, 45 minutes each: the Indian drama, Betaal, is a good pick. (Netflix)
-Zombie Detective is still currently airing, but it would be the perfect time to start this one. (Viki, Kocowa)
-There’s also the cdrama, Last One Standing, about detectives who’s train derails during an investigation. (iQIYI)

KBS has a series of drama specials that I feel like I’m always talking about, but not a lot of people are watching, so this is the perfect time for you to get into them. They have a zombie one!

A lot of zombie movies already tend to fall more on the humor side, so might as well watch some variety shows:

-Running Man is always a good option, but zombie specific Running Man episode (#510) is even better. (Kocowa)
-In episode 128 of Master in the House they learn how to be zombie actors. (Viki, Kocowa)
-If you need something light, some of the kids visit the set of Zombie Detective in episode 345 of Return of Superman (Viki, Kocowa)

I did a scare prank post already, but here’s one with SF9 and zombies:

If you have any other suggestions, leave them in the comments. I’m sure I missed something.
