music mondays: 11.11.19

I wanted to catch up on some of the music that I missed that last couple of weeks cause of all the mess. I’ve been listening to things, but my life has been really taken up by DAY6 videos. However, I won’t make you watch all my favorite DAY6 videos (just yet), so here’s some of the MVs I really think you should try out.

-I get into singer/songwriter moods and chay delivers with a stunning voice in the song, ‘伝えたいこと’ (‘What I Want to Convey’).

-Monsta X’s ‘Find You’ is still really hard to watch and listen to, but it’s such a beautiful song and video I can’t not include it. It showcases everyone’s vocals so perfectly and is one of my favorite tracks off the album. It also dives deeper into the time travel storyline, and I love that stuff.

-I stumbled upon Keina Suda at random with this music video, ‘Veil’, and immediately had to listen to the rest of their catalog. Spoiler alert: it’s all good.

-If you haven’t listened to DAY6’s ‘Sweet Chaos’, what are you doing with life honestly? This video is from their comeback stage on M Countdown where they were able to perform completely live (usually bands aren’t allowed to play plugged in) and you can tell how great they sound because of it.

-Solji was on Immortal Songs and was amazing and perfect as expected.

-I loved both videos from Brown Eyed Girls, but this one is my favorite out of the two.

-Yubin’s ‘Start of the End’ (ft Yoon Mirae) hasn’t been talked about a lot, but it’s one to definitely check out. I love the old-time Hollywood film vibe. I love the jazzy blues sound. I love Park Na Rae starring. Perfect song.

-I know it’s not Halloween anymore, but I really need you to watch the M Countdown Halloween stage of ATEEZ’s ‘Wonderland’ because it’s PERFECT.

-Radwimps came out with an official music video for ‘大丈夫’ (‘We’ll Be Alright’) for the movie Weathering With You. The extended special CD set came out this month as well as it finally making it’s North American theater debut. If you haven’t listened to any of their work for soundtracks, I highly suggest you check them out. Radwimps does some gorgeous pieces.

-BAND-MAID also came out with a new song, ‘輪廻’ (‘Reincarnation’). They have an album coming out this December and can’t wait for it to be released.
