Besides what I was watching last week, I picked up a new jdrama, Nee Sensei, Shiranai No? that is super cute and wonderfully fluffy.
My two anticipated dramas come out this week, The Game: Towards Midnight and XX.

A little round up of some casting news that I saw: Park Bo Gum, Park So Dam, and Byeon Woo Seok are confirmed for Youth Record. Jeon Hye Jin will be joining Secret Forest 2. Park Shin Yang and Lee Min Ki are going to be in the occult movie, Four Days. The Flower of Evil has Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won. Krystal will be in the OCN drama, The Search. Kwang Soo will be back for season 3 of Busted.
Parasite was nominated for 6 Oscars.

B1A4’s Sandeul has been cast in the musical Sherlock Holmes as Clive.

DAY6’s song, ‘You Were Beautiful’ soared to the top of charts after a message board suggested people listen to it. The song has been out for three years, and it charted higher than when it released. They really deserve the recognition.

Chen (EXO) is getting married and having a baby and it’s wonderful and great. End of story.
Weathering With You has officially been released in North America, and Radwimps (who did the OST) did an interview with Crunchy Roll and talk a little bit about their process.

Hyelin (EXID) has left Banana Culture. I personally think this is a good thing, she has a good voice and with EXID no longer active (at least for a while) she needs to be able to do things. Currently, LE and Solji are left with six months on their contracts.

-iri came out with a new song, ‘24-25’ and it’s great. I love her voice
-2Z is a new kband that debuted this week with their song, ‘My 1st Hero’ and I really like it. Looking forward to what they have for the future.
-Jae is starting to put out new music samples and just released the first one last night. It’s wonderful, and I’m really excited to see more from him as he branches out to do these sorts of things.
-I also highly suggest this Instagram live he did where he talks about some of his struggles and how he’s overcoming them. It’s longer but well worth it.
-You’ve probably seen the dance videos floating around, but Zico’s ‘_any song’ mv is worth a watch. The song is great.
-This video of NCT 127 as types of YouTubers is perfection.
-JYPE partners with Make a Wish, and recently they were able to make a wish for a DAY6 fan who wanted to be able to see them preform in Korea. The video will make you feel all the feels.
-It’s just so good. So good.
