Five Free YouTube Movies

I don’t use YouTube Movies often, but it’s becoming more of an option for me for a lot of movies that I don’t want to buy a hard copy of, and not on streaming sites. YouTube Movies functions a lot like the other platforms where you can rent or buy a movie but not all of it you need to pay for, there is a free section. Albeit, it’s fairly small and the selection isn’t the best, it is there and it’s a nice option to have since you don’t have to have signed up for the paid Premium membership (the movies are ad-free if you are signed up, though). More importantly, for all who would be reading this blog, it has some options for Korean movies.

I compiled a small list of five Korean movies currently in the free section. I know it’s not a lot, but these are fairly well-known movies so it does have that going for it. If you’ve had to forgo some streaming sites to save money, this is a really great option since some of them are over on those sites as well. They do seem to be all distributed by Well Go USA Entertainment so that might also help dictate future movies added to the list.

Just as a note: If you are looking through the free section…it’s not actually all of the free options. Swing Kids was not listed in that section but showed up as a suggestion on one of the other movies’ pages. I don’t know the rhyme or reason, but maybe keep this in mind the next time you are looking for a film - it might just randomly show up as a suggestion. There’s also a good bit of Chinese movies and some anime movies if you are looking for more to watch.
